Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need access to electricity or water?

A: We do not require electricity as our generator powers everything inside the van. We will require water access depending on the size of your dog(s) or if you have multiple pets getting bathed as we have a 75 gallon fresh water tank and need to be sure we have enough water to complete the bath service thoroughly. We will be sure to let you know ahead of time if we require water hook ups to complete the service

How long does the grooming process take?

A: This depends on many factors! Size of pet, condition of the coat, pets temperament and services requested. Our regularly booked full haircut clients typically take 1.5- 2 hours total. Of course we have special cases such as elderly clients, XL clients, and super fuzzy clients that naturally take us longer. We always go at the pets pace to complete services.

Do you work with aggressive dogs?

A: Yes. We will always make every effort to accommodate and work with dogs that display aggressive behavior. Depending on the severity of aggression we may not be able to complete services, in that case we would charge for the services we were able to complete if any, and our travel fee. We may have to use safety equipment such as muzzles, cones, grooming hammocks and groomer helper leads to safety complete services. There is an additional charge for dogs with behavioral issues as these services typically take more time, but we truly love working with them pets and showing them there is nothing to fear when it comes to the groomers!

Can I be in the van for the process?

A: Due to safety and liability reasons, we cannot allow anyone in the van other than our certified pet stylists during the grooming session. We are more than happy to give you a quick tour of the van before starting the process.

Can I provide you with a shampoo to use?

A: Of course! Most of our products are hypoallergenic, however if your dog was prescribed a shampoo by the vet or you feel more comfortable providing us with a shampoo, we will be more than happy to use it for the service.

Will my pet ever be put in a cage?

A: Nope! We do not have cages or use cage dryers, your pets will receive one-on-one attention from our certified groomers their entire visit.

Do I need to be home for the appointment?

A: For the pets first appointment, yes. After our initial meeting you do not need to be home for the appointment. We can prearrange entry via keypad, garage code, etc. At this time owners are required to be home for cat services and please be prepared to provide them to our groomers in a carrier.

Do you have a weight limit for dogs?

A: No. We accept dogs of all sizes and even have a bigger van to specifically accommodate the large pups as we believe they should be pampered in the driveway as well!
