Do you need access to electricity or water?

Accepted Answer

No electricity is required! Our generator powers everything we need inside the van, including our air conditioner, water heater, grooming equipment, and dryer, so there's no need to plug into your home.We may occasionally need access to water for XL breeds or households with multiple pets, as our fresh water tank holds 75 gallons. We just want to make sure we have enough water to provide a thorough bath. If water access is needed, we'll always let you know aheads of time.

How long does the grooming process take?

Grooming times vary depending on your pet's size, coat condition, temperament, and the services requested. Most regulary scheduled full haircuts take approximately 1.5 - 2 hours from start to finish. Puppies, senior pets, XL breeds and pets requiring a little extra TLC may take a bit longer. We always work at your pet's pace to ensure a safe, low-stress grooming experience.

How often should my pet be groomed?

We generally recommend grooming every 4-8 weeks, depending on your pet's breed, coat type, lifestyle, and grooming goals. We'll happily recommend a schedule that's best for your pet.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible and joining our recurring grooming schedule. Because most of our clients are on recurring schedules, our calendar often fills several weeks or months in advance. If you're looking for a last-minute appointment, availability may be limited. We'll gladly add you to our cancellation list and contact you if an opening becomes available sooner than your scheduled appointment.

Do you work with dogs that are nervous or difficult for grooming?

Yes! We have extensive experience working with dogs that are nervous, fearful, or have behavioral challenges during grooming. Our goal is always to make the experience as positive and low-stress as possible while keeping everyone safe. If a pet becomes too stressed or poses a safety risk, we may not be able to complete the service. In that case, we would only charge for the services we were able to complete (if any), along with our travel fee. When necessary, we may use safety equipment such as muzzles, cones, grooming hammocks, or Groomer's Helper restraints to safely perform grooming services. Pets requiring extra handling may be subject to an additional behavioral handling fee due to the extra time and care involved. We genuinely enjoy helping these pets build confidence and creating positive grooming experiences whenever possible!

Can I stay in the van during my pet's grooming appointment?

For safety and insurance reasons, only our groomers are permitted inside the van during your pet's appointment. We understand you may be curious about where your pet will be groomed, and we're always happy to give you a quick tour of the van before we get started. Our goal is to provide a safe, calm, and distraction-free environment so your pet can have the best grooming experience possible!

Can I provide my own shampoo?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, hypoallergenic products for the vast majority of pets. However, if your veterinarian has prescribed you a medicated shampoo or you simply prefer that we use a specific product, we're more than happy to do so at no additional charge.

Will my pet ever be placed in a cage?

Accepted Answer

Nope! We are a completely cage-free mobile grooming service. We do not use cages or cage dryers,  your pet will receive one-on-one attention from our groomers during their entire appointment.

Question 10

Do I need to be home for the appointment?

Accepted Answer

For your pet's first appointment with us, yes. We'd love the opportunity to meet you, discuss your pet's needs, and answer any questions you may have.After the initial appointment, you do not need to be home. We're happy to prearrange entry using a keypad, garage code, hidden key, or another method that works for you. At this time, owners are required to be home for cat appointments, and cats must be handed to our groomers in a secure carrier.

Do you have a weight limit for dogs?

No! We happily groom dogs of all sizes. Our equipment is designed to safely accommodate everything from tiny puppies to giant breeds, because we believe every pet deserves the comfort and convenience of being groomed right in their own driveway.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept cash, checks, Venmo, and all major credit cards. Card payments are processed through a secure invoice that will be sent to your cellphone or email once your appointment is complete.
